The Dodgers’ lack the services of Julio Urias, following his arrest late Sunday on a felony residential physical violence cost. The left-hander did not take a trip with the team on the roadway trip. Manager Dave Roberts and president of baseball procedures Andrew Friedman shared their ideas on the situation, per Bill Plunkett of the Orange Region Register: From Roberts: “I was surprised. There are still so many unknowns that we have not covered our arms around that yet. ” The Dodgers do not have to aim to far to locate a replacement for Urias, as the group can phone right-hander Ryan Pepiot, that surprised last Wednesday with five scoreless innings in a sweep-clinching sway Arizona. Calling up Pepiot would require either an injured-list move, or MLB positioning Urias on administrative leave. The latter has not happened yet. Walker Buehler is set up for one more rehab start on Friday, with the hopes that he will certainly be healthy prior to the postseason begins.
